When do I need to order?
Order by Thursday at 5pm. Glasgow-area orders arrive the following Sunday. DPD orders are sent for Monday delivery, and collections are on Monday. Weekly Plans work the same way: you can edit your box until Thursday at 5pm.
When will my DPD order arrive?
We aim for Monday. On the morning of delivery, DPD will text or email you a one-hour delivery window. You can track your parcel, or choose a safe place or a neighbour, in the DPD app or from the link they send.
What if DPD is delayed?
Most parcels arrive on Monday, but delays in the delivery chain can happen. Bad weather, high volumes and problems at a depot are all things outside our control. That's why our boxes are built for it. Our insulated packaging is designed to keep your meals cool for up to 48 hours. If your parcel arrives a day late, your meals should still be cold and safe to eat.
My ice packs have thawed. Is that OK?
Yes, that's completely normal. Ice packs thaw as they do their job, and they keep your meals cool even once they've melted. What matters is the food: if your meals feel cold to the touch, they're fine. Pop them in the fridge straight away.
What should I do when my box arrives?
- Unpack your meals and put them in the fridge as soon as you can.
- Check the use-by date on each meal.
- If a meal doesn't feel cold, or looks damaged, don't eat it. Get in touch and we'll sort it out.
What if I'm not in?
For Glasgow deliveries, add any instructions (for example, a safe place) in the delivery notes at checkout. For DPD deliveries, you can choose a safe place or a neighbour in the DPD app or from DPD's message on the morning of delivery.
Something's not right with my order
Please email us at info@preppalmeals.com on the day your box arrives, with your order number and a photo of the meals. If your DPD parcel is late, check DPD tracking first, and we'll chase DPD for you if needed. We'll always put it right.
